There's also a handy little guide telling you how to use the products which is a good job since I was flummoxed. It's not that it's confusing really, more that I'm easily confused! These products are all to be used after you've cleansed and toned so I just had to find out what order they all needed using in. Actually it's simple. You use the skin firming serum, followed by the fine line face oil, followed by the nourishing cream and finally the eye cream. The other two products included are for night use only. There's a repair mask you use for either a couple of hours, or leave on over night, and there's an Intensive skin Treatment oil to use under the mask in emergencies.
Obviously it's impossible to tell you if they prevent aging but I can tell you how they were to use. Well, actually the individual products are very very lovely. I particularly love the oils and the serum. The products all smell out of this world, as you would expect from a company called Aromatherapy Associates. Unfortunately, the whole regime isn't for me. Applying the three main products, the serum, oil and nourishing cream, is just too heavy for my skin. It takes a long time to absorb and it's hard to get on and put on my make up without my make up sliding away too quickly. I would however continue to use the products, but perhaps, only one or two of them, the oil and serum perhaps. It obviously doesn't matter if the night products absorb quickly or not and they are lovely.
This isn't a negative review, far from it, I just want to be clear and say that I like all of the products, but used all together, it's simply too heavy for me. Stand out products are the Fine Line Face Oil and the Instant Skin Firming Serum and indeed the Intensive Skin Treatment Oil which gives you lovely skin when you wake in the morning.
As with all the Aromatherapy Associates products, they don't come especially cheap but I really do think they are worth the money. It is simply beautiful stuff. The sample kit I was sent is £28.50 and well worth every penny as a little goes a long way, however, it is currently out of stock on their website. Keep checking back though if you are interested because I do recommend it. Especially if you don't wear make up every day or you have dry skin, this stuff would be fabulous.

Depression or anxiety affects one in six people at some point
ReplyDeleteThree quarters of GPs have prescribed anti-depressants even though they think another treatment would have been more effective, a survey has found.
