Revlon ColorBurst Lipstick Reviews.

Revlon ColorBurst lipsticks. The hype is building and I've read a few blog posts on them now and was looking forward to trying them. I was sent five to try and they really do live up to my expectations.

Not a huge fan of the packaging design, it looks posh but it feels a bit cheap. Thats not important anyway. I do like the colour swatches on the lid meaning you can see which colour you have without having to open them up which is handy. Lets have a closer look at the colours.

There are 12 shades altogether and they are being promoted as  being "high impact colour" but "feather light feel" and indeed they are. They swatch (both on the skin and on my lips) very well. One swipe delivers the colours you expect. No need to go over a few times to build it up. First time's a charm.

I must say I'm very much looking forward to giving True Red a go and here's Fuchsia on my lips.

I think that's pretty Wow to be honest! If you want to see any of the other colours on, just give me a shout. It is a rich colour, moisturising and has a lovely sheen. In fact I want more.... Crimson, Carnation, Baby Pink and Peach all look wonderful.

I should mention that as per the description, they do feel light on your lips. Not a hint of greasiness. Very nice.


I know this is a bit of a gushing review, and given that I was sent these for review you might think I was biased. I just think they are really nice.

These are due out today and priced at £7.99. What do you think? Any appeal to you?
