Thanks to an incredibly kind 'American Friend' I was able to get my hands on a bottle of this 6 weeks ago and have been using it twice a day ever since. I will be doing a full 12 week trial, but in order to get my review out there ASAP I thought I'd do a midway review.
Nice packaging, pipette to get your three drops out, usual serum appearance, white, milky liquid and relatively scentless. Easy to apply, absorbs quickly and a bottle seems to last a long long time. I experienced some tingling after the first couple of uses, which I'm told is not uncommon with products containing Vitamin A, it wasn't uncomfortable and I had no further side effects. As I say, I've been using for 6 weeks and have approximately a quarter of the bottle left. Fortunately, I have another bottle in the cupboard so I can carry out a full 12 week review. So shall we have a look at some results? I'm really sorry that the befores and afters aren't great matches, I've had a bit of a nightmare with pics lately. Please click to enlarge any you want to look at closely. Excuse the pores. And dark circles.
Before and after:
Before & after (sorry its not the same I but trust me, they were the same:

Afters:
Well so far, so AMAZING. The majority of my fine lines have completely disappeared. And I do mean completely. I have to be wearing either very very heavy concealer under my eyes for lines to show up, or be grimacing. I'm sorry that the comparison pics are so awful but the last two pics hopefully will show you just how line free I am now. I can't wait to see what's happened at the end of the next 6 weeks! I highly recommend that you try this. It's worked absolute wonders on me.
£35 for 30ml.
Exclusively available in Selfridges nationwide and Brown Thomas Ireland from now.
Available at all Clinique counters nationwide from 10 September 2010. You need this in your life!
I will do a further post at the 12 week mark.
Wow that's incredible! You look very radiant and happy in your after pics. What are the ingredients in the serum that make it work so well? £35 is a bargain if everyone gets as good results as you! In just 6 weeks too!
ReplyDeleteImpressive results!
ReplyDeleteJust one question, would you have to use this for the rest of your life now?
wow!!! i want, i have a few lines i hate xx
ReplyDeleteYour skin looks fantastic!
ReplyDeleteThank you all - I'm incredibly impressed with this stuff. Will be recommending to everyone!
ReplyDeleteYou're skin looks really good!
ReplyDeleteWow - this looks great, thanks for the post Charlie. I'm looking forward to the 12 week pictures too. x
ReplyDeleteOMG, that looks AMAZING! I've seen it in Brown Thomas yesterday but didn't pay much attention to it as I don't like Clinique much apart from their toners. I have tried Estee Lauder repair serum before and find it very good, but now with those results you achieved I really want to get my hands on it TODAY!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the post!
PS: Is it safe to use under eyes? My eye area is quite sensitive
Thank youguys, Beauty Addict, you totally need it right now! It says in the blurb it targets the whole face especially the delicate under eye area.. I guess a patch test would be wise!
ReplyDeleteI read about this yesterday in Sept She mag - couldn't find a decent review anywhere, so thankhyou Charlie for this, comprehensive as always
ReplyDeleteThis looks brilliant - I think I may need one of these :)
ReplyDeletei was on the fence about trying this.. thanks for the review.. under mt eyes are really starting to .. sag.. :-(((
ReplyDeleteI love Clinique. I have tried other products and always go back to Clinique. I was debating about purchasing this product but you have sold me. Clinique should thank you, I think you are sending a lot of customers their way. I have wrinkles around my eyes and I am hoping this will definitely make them better. Thanx again so much for your review, it helped a lot.
ReplyDeleteGreat results, no doubt.
ReplyDeleteI was just wondering how you apply it, on bare, cleansed skin or on top of a mosturizer? my favourite serum is Estee Lauder`s Perfectionist CP+ which is quite amazing.
Anette, Norway
Hi Annette, Yes you use it on cleansed skin, and moisturise on top.
ReplyDeleteI love Perfectionist too, I have reviewed it on my blog. I love it!
Hi again.
ReplyDeleteThe reason I ask how you use it is because the info says after 3 -step skincare, which I interpret to be after the dramatically different moisturizing lotion. Nobody in the shop could tell me how to layer it. It seems like quite a fuzzThe re to put Dram.moist.lotion first THEN the laser serum...THEN a protection cream and EVENTUALLY make-up...6 layers....
Anette
Wow, this really works! I'm going to try this product now=)
ReplyDeleteYou definitely need to try it!
ReplyDeleteI asked for something that would reduce my large pores and was recommended this product. I was somewhat skeptical but thought I'd give it a try. After only two days of use I am truly stunned by the difference! I keep going back to the mirror to assure myself that it's really true, and each time I check my skin looks even more smooth. 6 years ago I tried laser treatment. That was excruciatingly painful, both to my face and my wallet. The effect didn't last very long and was not even as good as this.
ReplyDeleteOh, and I forgot to say that your "after" pictures look fantastic!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much!
ReplyDeleteWILL THIS WORK ONA 60 YEAR OLDS SKIN
ReplyDeleteHi. I'm about to turn 43 in Nov. I tried Clinque for a couple of months and seen great results, then thought I would try something cheaper. I was disapointed in the cheaper product. I am back using the Clinque now; the amazing results came back. I love Clinque and will continue using it. Let's face it ladies.. Once we find a good product that works, we should stick with it, rather we add to or not, let's stick with what works. Just wanting to share my 2 cents worth. :-)
ReplyDeleteWow that's good! I've been umming and aahing over this stuff for the past two weeks after being given a couple of samples. They weren't enough for me to make an informed decision on whether to buy or not...until I found this post today! Now I'll be sure to grab a bottle this week and wait for your review on their new laser focus eye cream
ReplyDeleteThanks Charlie :)
