The Babylon Lane Tales Beauty Bloggers Best Things Interview

This week my questions are answered by the lovely Elsie at http://babylonlanetales.com/ Her blog is quite new to me but well worth a read and full of photos I just love to look at! If you love an eclectic blog that isn't all about beauty, check this one out.

So lets start with some easy questions!

Can you talk me through your daily skin care regimen, which products you use and why?
Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish
Roc Retinol Deep Wrinkle Serum
Bliss Best of Skintentions Moisturiser
Roc Complete Lift Anti Dark Circle Eye

(I'm not particularly wedded to Roc products but get them uber-cheap as my Dad works for Johnson & Johnson)

I have to admit to occasional slatternly behaviour. I have been known to wake up mascara-glued to my pillow because I've been too lazy to take my make-up off the night before.

Occasionally I also throw in a quick Bliss Triple Oxygen Mask to brighten my skin.

What Shampoo and Conditioner are you devoted to?John Frieda Radiant Red shampoo and conditioner to protect my hair from getting the Mean Reds.

What about your top three make up brands generally speaking?
Nars for cheeks
Clinique for foundation - but not lipstick as their lipsticks smell foul and have the consistency of pate.
MAC for eyeliner gel, lipstick and mascara

Okay, some specifics now!

What is your favourite foundation and why?
Clinique Superbalanced. I've nicely developed a red nose in my old age and this seems to be the only brand that covers it and stops me looking like a cross between Rudolph and an old soak.

And your favourite mascara and why?
I am permanently on the hunt for the perfect mascara. At the moment I am using Clinique's High Impact AND Chanel's Inimitable, both at the same time, which while giving good lash is a costly solution to my mascara quest.

What one product do you think every cosmetic aficionado should have in their collection?Nars Multiple in Orgasm. I love this it gives me a delightful post-coital glow. I wear it with Nars Deep Throat blush. Love the names too, makes an otherwise provincial girl feel just that little bit Parisian courtesan.

I love finding new blogs so please, before you go, recommend three of your favourite bloggers.Belgain Waffling
Paris Parfait
Lost in Manchester

Thanks so much for this Elsie, it's been a pleasure to get to know you better and I like your blog recommendations! Please everyone, go and check out Elsie's blog
