Little Miss H's Beauty Bloggers Best Things!

So it's a new year and another Thursday of Beauty Blogger's Best Things. As alway, if you'd like to take part please drop me a line!

This week its the turn of the lovely Hannah aka Little Miss H who has a lovely blog over at http://www.thisbloggylife.blogspot.com/. Please follow if you don't already as Hannah really deserves more followers.

So introductions out of the way lets find out which products are her Hannah's Best Things.

So lets start with some easy questions!

Can you talk me through your daily skin care regimen, which products you use and why?
Uh oh… I don’t really have one! I am pretty bad with my skincare. As a basic routine, I usually wash my face with whatever facewash I’ve got at the time, then I use No7 Protect & Perfect eye cream and I alternate face moisturisers. Nivea oil free moisturising fluid and Dermalogica active moist are some of my favourites. I’m pretty shameful in the skincare stakes sadly. I’m after a decent oil cleanser though and hoping to get into a better routine when I move house in the next couple of weeks – poor excuse I know but life is pretty hectic at the moment. Any product tips will be greatly received!

What shampoo and conditioner are you devoted to?
I’m pretty fickle with shampoo and conditioner. I heard somewhere once that you should switch often because your hair can get too used to a brand and it won’t work as well. Not sure how true that is! If I’m feeling flush my favourite would have to be Umberto Giannini blonde – I love how my hair feels after I’ve used this. If I’m on more of a budget though, Tresemme colour revitalise is always my go to. It’s a much more affordable option, comes in bigger bottles and often on offer!

What about your top three make up brands generally speaking?
Laura Mercier – I think most ‘high-end’ brands are overpriced for what they are, but I really rate this brand. If only I could afford more of it!
ELF – cos it’s pretty much the best for affordability and some of the products are well worth five times what you pay for them.
Sigma – does this count as a makeup brand? I completely love these brushes. Half the price of brands like MAC and in my opinion – the brushes are far better.

Ok some specifics now!

What is your favourite foundation and why?
I barely ever bother with foundation so haven’t tried that many. I know Estee Lauder’s Double Wear is pretty immense for flawless finish and staying power, I used it when I did my friend’s makeup for her wedding recently. For me though, my favourite is Lancome’s Teint Miracle. I love the finish but most importantly for me, the lightness of it is perfect. I hate feeling caked in makeup.

What is your favourite mascara and why?
At the moment I swear by Maybelline’s Lash Stiletto mascara. I hate clumpy lashes and this separates my lashes perfectly and they always look evenly spaced.

What one product do you think every cosmetic aficionado should have in their collection?
I spent ages thinking about this one and I’m still not sure. Assuming it’s part of a collection I’d have to say a good primer – Laura Mercier’s oil free primer is the one I use. Once you’ve got a good base to work with it’s a lot easier to make up a flawless face.

I love finding new blogs so please before you go, please recommend three of your favourite bloggers.
In no particular order, I’d have to say TheMFace ( themface.blogspot.com): Madi is so young and so creative and talented. I can only dream of creating what this girl does! May at Maylovesmakeup (maylovesmakeup.com): probably the nicest lady in the beauty blogosphere and a fun blog to read for the latest pink thing! Lipglossiping (http://www.lipglossiping.com/): Charlotte’s blog was one of the first I got into and I really have no idea how she keeps it so chocka full of reviews and beauty chat.

Thanks so much for all your answers Hannah, I really enjoyed reading them. I might have to try Lash Stiletto as I'ev heard some great stuff about it. I must also say that your skin looks flawless in the picture I used. I have to especially agree with your blog recommendation of Madi's blog. She's so clever!
