  2. Hmmm after a stressful day (which I have loads of as I'm a fulltime final year student at uni!) I like to wind down by having a warm cup of tea, changing into my pj's and getting cosy infront of the heater with a good book and some light soft rock or underground music playing through my headphones. On exceptionally stressful day I would also light a couple of aromatic candles and put some lipstick/gloss on to make myself feel better! :)

  5. Hi Charlie,
Am really interested in trying this as seen so many posts about it and I spend what seems like a lifetime in the bath to help my joints! As you can probably guess, I find the best way to relax is a nice hot bath listening to an audiobook on my iPod dock or not so relaxing, attempting to learn Spanish by listening to Michel Thomas. After that it has to be pyjamas, hot chocolate, Ben & Jerry's and a good film. From Twitter it sounds like you are the one desperately in need of some relaxation so I really hope you get some well deserved sleep soon! X

  7. This is one brand that I seriously lust after but know I can't afford to get into.

I tend to have a quick play of picross on my ds - uses a different part of my brain and isn't too challenging.

  10. Hi there,

    I'm following on Facebook.

After a stressful week - I teach PR and advertising at a busy FE college - my Friday night routine is to come home, put on some shouty music, and then lie in the bath with a very trashy magazine. (A favourite is Love It! Don't judge.) After that, it's pyjamas on, shove-it-in-the-oven M&S food, soaps/other trash telly, and a glass of wine, then bed in clean sheets. My usual favourite bath oils are REN's Moroccan Rose Otto or Jo Malone's Orange Blossom, but I'd love to try this.

  13. Hi Charlie, I am following your lovely blog through Google. Well I am a mum of 4, I work 60 hours a weeks as an investigator and I am a beauty blogger. I work shifts so no matter what time I arrive home I have a bath, PJ's on, big mug of tea, toast and Jam and I sit for an hour and read other people's blogs. This giveaway seems like bliss in a bottle. Jude x

  14. Oh what a lovely giveaway Charlie. How I wind down after a stressful day varies, yesterday I was making a Devil's Food Cake a la Nigella, new receipe, for daughter's b'day - stressful in itself but it wound me down! Today I have pigged out on pizza and watched most of Indiana Jones with the family after aforementioned b'day celebrations, again it wound me down. I rarely have a bath as I find they exhaust me - is the water too hot? to soap or not to soap? do I full submerge? You get the picture - lovely giveaway though and Aromatherapy Associates really are top quality aromatherapy. Jan x

  16. Hello madam I am here to speak with you about your perfume pimping, I might love you. Anyway....

To relax in the evening I like to sit in my big girl pants on my sofa surrounded by dogs, half drunk cups of tea, onion rings, olives and many discarded stones, half finished kids homework, unpaid bills and various household disasters and just ignore it all. I do some scratching, some eyebrow plucking and some half hearted telly watching and a lot of random crisp eating.

Its a way of life. *wink*

To wind down, I generally just have a relaxing bath and then settle down with my fella and cat for a cuddle and watch a bit of tv. It's simple, but it works. xx

  34. I usually do an hour session on the Will fit winding down with 20 minutes of Yoga. Then if it's winter I usually have a bath using sumptious, uplifting oils - I like Elemis; or in the summer I have a shower and love to use Lush products. Afterwards my husband gives me a neck massage to ease the stiffness in my neck caused by early onset Spondylosis.........after that I'm usually pretty de-stressed!!
