...again...So I stuck up the press release for this product. I even gave a bottle of it away recently in my giveaway in conjunction with Aromatherapy Associates but actually I see I never reviewed it. How terribly remiss of me!
So starting with the crucial bit, it's £37 for 55ml. It's not cheap. I've had my bottle for about three weeks or so, not sure off the top of my head, and it's already become invaluable. I did get this bottle for free so of course you may think it's easy for me to say, but I can one hundred percent guarantee that when I've used the last drop I will purchase a bottle for myself. With real actual money. Even if I have to sell something to get it. It's a bit like a drug. I don't think I can cope without out it any more. I don't know how I coped before I had it!
Ok, its been a crappy couple of weeks, the kids have been ill and naughty, I've been ill and hormonal and if there was ever a time I needed some deep relaxation, this has been it. Fish Wife. Those words are all you need to know about me of late.
The oil itself is a blend of vetivert, camomile and sandalwood, sandalwood being one of my favourite scents ever. Now I don't bath really, its a rare occurance at least, but I do shower...but I don't use this as a shower product either (rub it all over yourself before you hop in), no, every night before I go to sleep, as soon as my make up is off and I'm settling down for a good game of Angry Birds and some tweeting in my dark room, I dab this onto my pulse points. The tiniest amount is all you need, it's potent stuff.
Before I know it I'm slumped dribbling into my pillow in a state of relaxed intoxication. Ok, I'm exaggerating a bit, but my goodness, its good stuff, the day seems to melt away, my mind manages to shut out all crap racing around and sleep comes. Good huh? For someone who has always struggled to shut down at the end of the day it's like a miracle. Not only is the relaxing effect great but the smell is absolutely amazing, it seeps into your bedding so that your room is scented, it lingers around the next day if you dont' shower first thing, it's like a gorgeous perfume, a perfume that gets you stoned. Or something. Not that I'd know about that kind of thing. Um. Well, you know what I mean.
I'll stop there. Are you sold yet?
If we ever sell the guest house and revert to having a normal life, in a house, with no strangers and a BATH, please god, I am going to purchase this on the day we complete! Sounds heavenly.x

I don't think I have had a proper nights sleep in about a year and a half because I cant shut off, so I am always looking for something that can help me relax and nod off! Plus if this does for me what it does for you im sure £37 is an invaluble price to pay for some shut eye especially if using it like you do it will last longer :) xx

ReplyDeleteI honestly did not believe an oil could be so amazing but oh my! Prior to a bath in this I was incredibly grumpy after a rubbish day and work and half an hour later hello floating on clouds and deep deep sleep! :)
