So lets start with some easy questions!
Can you talk me through your daily skin care regimen, which products you use and why?
Well I use a lot of products for review purposes but when I want to give my skin a break I use the following:-
Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish - removes all of my make-up quickly, effectively but gently, this is the one cleanser that I will always go back to time and time again.
Elemis Absolute Eye Serum – I have been using this product for 7 years, I haven’t found anything yet that is as effective as this on dark circles and lines.
Pai Macadamia & Rose Moisturiser – One of the best moisturisers I have ever used.
Twice a week I will use Elemis Skin Buff and Elemis Fruit Active Rejuvenating Mask, both favourites from my days as an Elemis Therapist.
What shampoo and conditioner are you devoted to?
Aussie Volume Shampoo & Conditioner and once a week the 3 Minute Miracle. I love the way these products make my hair feel and the smell is amazing.
What about your top three make up brands generally speaking?
Estee Lauder for foundation and concealer.
Urban Decay for eyeshadows.
Bobbi Brown for eyeliners.
Ok some specifics now!
What is your favourite foundation and why?
My favourite foundation is Estee Lauder Double Wear. I have been using this for many years and I was introduced to it by a client whilst working as a therapist. When I became an air hostess this foundation was my saviour. It gives great coverage but still maintains a dewy look and I never have to worry about reapplying it throughout the day. No matter which foundations I try I always go back to this one.
What is your favourite mascara and why?
I’m a bit of a mascara slut to be honest with you. I don’t think I have ever purchased the same one twice. I am still searching for ‘the one’ so every couple of months I purchase a different brand and have yet to find one that is perfect.
What one product do you think every cosmetic aficionado should have in their collection?
A Tom Ford lipstick and in particular Pure Pink, absolutely gorgeous.
I love finding new blogs so please before you go, please recommend three of your favourite bloggers.

And that's it from Jude this week. Thanks for taking part Jude, I'm loving the blog recommendations, there are two new ones there for me to check out! Also I have to agree with you re the Double Wear it's great. Also loving the concealer! I've never checked out a Bobbi Brown eyeliner so will add that to my list of things I need to try! In fact, don't kill me, but I've never tried ANY Bobbi Brown!
Ok so that's it for this week, if you'd like to take part in Beauty Blogger's Best Things all you need to do is drop me an email to charlie@ladyofthelane.com. ALL welcome!
Thanks sweetie.
ReplyDeleteI won't kill for your lack of Bobbi Brown products lol but you really should try the Gel Liners, they are fab and they stay put all day.

I was very impressed with the SKII Facial Treatment Essence (http://www.geocities.jp/hongkong_skii/index_e.htm), enough so that I have continued to use the product daily as part of my skin care routine after the test period. It's a luxury purchase to be sure, but this is one of the best products that can really make a significant difference in your skin, and so worth every penny.
ReplyDeleteI applied the treatment each morning and evening after cleansing my skin and before moisturizer/primer and then makeup. Within just a few days I could see that my skin was much more supple and smooth - particularly in the t-zone. After about two weeks, I loved the beautiful glow my skin had - even without makeup.
