For me it's only lightly moisturising, so probably not the best product for very dry lips but I wear this very much as a lip colour and any extra moisture I get from it are just an added bonus.
It is full of great ingredients though, obviously the lovely dried chillies, and hoja santa (an aromatic herb) and annatto seeds which have such a strong red colour in the seeds that the bush is known as the lipstick tree! Then there's jojoba oil and chocolate-scented cocoa butter and wax to protect and seal the colour. It smells gorgeous but really it's how it looks that I really love.
Re the taste, there's a hint of chilli but its mostly chocolate. I'd personally like to experience a bit more tingle!
Anyway, here it is on. it's a nice soft muted shade and not as scary as it looks in the tin!
Anyway, this is a Lush Christmas special and I'm really not sure how long it's going to be around after Christmas so if it takes your fancy you need to grab one fast!
It's £4.75 and I'll be trying to get the Snow Fairy one and the red one It Started With A Kiss. These are just brilliant for a hint of colour and they wear really well. Love them all.

This looks lovely on you! I love the Lush Latte lip tint, such a pretty bronze on the lips and smells wonderful
ReplyDeleteThis looks lovely. I agree that they aren't that moisturising but as a tint they work well.

It does look scary in the tin,but my gosh,it looks so lovely on.I love a nice hint of color!
ReplyDeleteI loved the idea of the lip tints and purchased It Started with a Kiss for the gorgeous red color and the great scent.... but it was grainy, felt more like a sugar scrub than a moisturizing tint. I was dissapointed, no more Lush lip tints for me.... however I am still a devoted adict to their bath bombs, melts, and bubble bars, as well as their henna hair dye :)
