I'm not a huge No7 fan, I'm sure I might have mentioned it in the past! When I saw the press release for this collection, created by the fabulous Lisa Eldridge, I was initially sucked into the gorgeous packaging and then I spotted the cream blushers and I was won over. Blushers are my weakness. I keep having to blog sale them because I keep buying so many but you know, I can't resist!
So anyway, I was lucky enough to be sent a couple of items from the collection, the Vital Brightening Eye Palette (£13) and the Vital Brights Cream Blusher in Blooming Pink (£10).
The Vital Brightening Eye Palette is essentially four neutral shades with a small pop of yellow... which I have to confess I didn't manage to use in my look. I found the palette gave me a soft natural effect and the finish of each shadow is satiny I think, there is shimmer but it's not overtly so and certainly not on the eye.
The Vital Brights Cream Blusher in Blooming Pink is gorgeous! It's buildable but I find it adds a gorgeous natural flush. It unfortunately hasn't shown up too well in the photographs, but it is there and it's more obvious in real life, but still a subtle flush, well it is the way I've worn it, you can see from the swatch above what's possible!
Also in the collection are a fuchsia creme blush, a gorgeous Highlighter and two lipsticks. I think I'll be popping into Boots to have a look at the highlighter as this is the first time I've been really impressed with No7. I love it!
This collection is in stores now, until 6th March and available from http://www.boots.com
What do you think? I think it's fresh and pretty. What say you?
