DKNY Sweet Delicious Pink Macaron Ltd Edition.

It was Mothers Day a few weeks ago and my gorgeous children were very kind to their favourite Mummy. Not only did I get a lovely box of chocolates and couple of fab home made cards but I was also lucky enough to receive a bottle of DKNY Limited Edition Pink Macaron. I've spent ages searching for whether this is actually called Pink Macaroon or Pink Macaron, virtually everything online says Pink Macaroon, except for my box and the DKNY site which definitely calls it Pink Macaron so I'm going to stick with Macaron! I was briefly starting to wonder if my family had bought me a fake, but I'm suitably satisfied by the DKNY site!

This one is beautiful, it's sweet and fruity. It opens with the fruit, in particular nectarine and then at the heart is what they are calling rose marzipan. I love it. It's quite a subtle scent, not overpowering at all. It's not heavy nor is it over poweringly sweet. I just made that word up I think. But it's light, sweet-but-not-sickly, and a great summer day scent. It's NOT a mature scent, but I'm not a mature person. Perfect. It's a massive change from my usual patchouli based favourites, but I think thats the appeal!

The bottle is cute but a little plasticy, that doesn't bother me at all, but maybe it might bother you.
I really fancy getting the other two in the Sweet Delicious range, the Creamy Meringue and Tart Key Lime. I've sniffed them all in store and would be hard pushed to choose a favourite.

This cost my husband £36. I know because I had to provide him with the details of where to buy. In this case, Debenhams.
