When I got the press release for Renouve, initially I couldn't get a handle on what it actually was so I kept it in my inbox for a few days and kept re-reading it.
In the meantime, I got my new rings and kept gazing lovingly at them, that's when I noticed, my hands have aged. Quite a lot. Sob. Is it not bad enough that my face is starting to look old and wrinkly, no apparently not, no my hands are starting to show my age too. That's when it clicked and I went back to look at the Renouve press release.
Okay, so in short Renouve (taken from the word renew and is meant to embody the essence of the product), is an anti-aging hand sanitizing lotion.
I'm a middle aged Mum of two girls. There's more nappy changing and disgusting habits than I care to admit (not me, the kids) and so I always have hand sanitizer around but now I can protect them as well.
Ok I'm not going to pretend I know much about ingredients so I'm just going to tell you about what Renouve contains. The key ingredient is Palmitoyl Tripeptide-5 which was developed to stimulate and produce collagen while actively diminishing wrinkles (yay!), firming and moisturising the skin. Then there's the Bitter Orange Peel Extract, a certified organic antibacterial free of alcohol and parabens. Then there's Vitamin E and Aloe Vera.
One thing I especially love about this is the packaging, its truly beautiful and you can choose from six colours, although each bottle contains the same product, you can just pick whichever bottle you like the most. I like them all.
I've been using this stuff religiously I have to say, I keep one bottle by my bed and one bottle on my desk which I chuck in my handbag whenever I go out.
It's alcohol free and oil free so it's not greasy and it doesn't dry your hands out. It just absorbs quickly leaving my hands clean, dry and soft. It's 95% natural and kills 99.99% of bacteria.
It's not cheap for a hand sanitiser at £22 for 30ml but it is a luxury item with unique claims and I'm a dedicated fan.

What an interesting post, thankyou Charlie. I have given up on my hands, age spots appeared some 5yrs ago and I am rubbish at remembering to apply handcream let alone sunscreen. The packaging is indeed beautiful.
