Best Bath Ever, Thanks Lush and Weleda!

Hello!

I hope everyone had a lovely Christmas?

I don't know about you guys but Christmas Day night and yesterday (Boxing Day), I was off-the-scale tired. I mean shattered. Partly down to the kids thinking 5am is a great time to start the day and partly down to finally just stopping. Stopping the food shopping, the Christmas Present shopping, the wrapping, the planning and the organising. Whatever the reason, I was exhausted.

I decided a bath was in order, and I never bath, preferring showers as a rule. But my bath was so amazing and restorative I feel compelled to share it with you.
So I ran myself a hot bath and  put in a few capfuls of the Weleda Pine Bath Milk *. This was a sample I received just before Christmas and I wasn't sure I was going to be using it as I so rarely take a bath but I was so pleased I did, it was just what the doctor ordered, the scent was fresh and herbal and not at all toilet cleaner and it was gorgeous. Then I washed my hair with Lush Curly Wurly shampoo which I've blogged about long ago but still absolutely adore for occasional use. I received that and Lush Happy Happy Joy Joy conditioner for Christmas so I of course had to use the Happy Happy Joy Joy Conditioner too. Previously I've tried Happy Happy Joy Joy when I was given a little sample in store a few months ago and I fell in love. Never has a conditioner been more aptly named. I also like the fact it's called a conditioning Hair Perfume, because that's exactly what it is. The scent is blissful and it lasts and lasts, it's neroli, rose, grapefruit and rosewood with a touch of benzoin.... only problem is the price... just way too expensive to use regularly, mores the pity.

I washed with Lush Twilight* which I blogged about here, but is a malt and lavender shower gel perfect for relaxing. until earlier today it was available in the online sale but now it appears to have gone along with the rest of the sale which is a massive shame since I was planning to buy a bigger bottle along with a few other bits :( If you can find it anywhere though, you should grab it. It's the perfect wind down gel.

Finally, after my bath I rubbed in some Weleda Lavender oil which I had for Christmas as part of this set. Just a stunning Lavender oil which absorbs quickly into the skin but is heavily scented. Just the perfect finish to the perfect bath... I floated down the stairs after.

The two Weleda products were my first experiences with the brand and certainly won't be my last. I'm making a list right now!

Anyway, Happy Day After Boxing Day, posting will be sporadic, but back with a vengeance in the New Year!
