Anyway, I've mentioned before that a month or so ago I went along to my local counter to get foundation matched. After a lengthy consultation in which my entire make up was done (except my eye make up) I left with the Bobbi Brown Foundation Stick in Cool Beige.
So, in case you weren't aware, all of Bobbi Brown's foundations come in the same shades meaning the foundation stick has a couple of uses. Firstly you can of course use it as your foundation in the morning, but in addition, the little twist up stick makes it a perfect handbag size product for touching up throughout the day... so in theory, you could use another Bobbi Brown foundation, but keep this to hand for, as I say, touch ups.
The reason I was recommended the Foundation stick is that it's a very buildable product, meaning you can make apply it more heavily on areas where you require more coverage, for me that's my chin and sometimes my nose, blending it out sheerly over areas that need less coverage. You can apply with a brush from the stick, or as I do, apply the stick to the face and blend out once on. This is a very creamy foundation that blends like a dream, I do find I am getting through it very fast though.
That said, I love it, I love how works on my skin giving me the desired coverage but keeping some glow and life. That said, this does tend to go shiny on me throughout the day if I don't use powder on the danger zones as it were. But a light dusting of powder fixes that for me, I wouldn't recommend this at all for oily skins but for dry and combination skins, like mine, this is fabulous.
The stick is a quite expensive £28 considering I'm getting through it rather fast, so it is my intention to purchase at some point in the future, the Long Wear foundation and keep this for touch ups.
I purchased this foundation myself.

Great post Bobbi Brown do have some really good make up but if this is £28 and your eatin trough it quick it's not for me as I use conclear all the time xxx

I love her foundation sticks, they're very creamy. I do get most of my BB makeup from the CCO which is the cosmetic company outlet, so I don't pay full price.
